Some web hosts will pay you a one-time only fee when one of your leads signs up, while others will pay you a smaller fee upfront, but you will continue to get a piece of the pie every month when that person pays their monthly fees. If you are looking for constant, residual income, then this is the kind of program you want to be associated with.
Remember, that what you look for in a web host is also what your customers are looking for, too, so make sure the company you are working with is legitimate and sufficiently sound to be able to pay you on time, every time. Some web hosting resellers come and go very quickly, so if you are putting a lot of work into bringing them leads, make sure they are ready and willing to pay you for them.
